Jorge Veiga Franca

Partner of NEWCO, an independent corporate services provider that, under its previous name New Madeira, has been supporting the start-up and management of companies in a tax efficient jurisdiction for over 20 years.

For more than 25 years I have been planning marketing activities and participating in business missions into our main markets in order to attract investors into the jurisdictions where we are present, firstly Madeira and currently also Malta.

I have got the skills resulting from the areas of education developped and the company's business related activities, which mainly deal with international investment and tax matters.

As from inception of the IBC of Madeira that also embracea an International Shipping Register - MAR, I have specialized in the registration of vessels, both commercial and pleasure ones, under Portuguese flag.

I have, thus, acquired throughout the years a long and solid experience and know-how in this area of shipping, nowadays serving and representing in Madeira a consistent number of ship-owners, ship-charterers and yacht owners, some of which amongst the biggest operators of Europe and the world of both line cruisers and cargo vessels' operators.
